In this student-assigned project, the goal was to create an animal that did not exist. To create something there is always an inspiration. With creating an animal that doesn’t exist in this world the animal was inspired by the animals in Avatar the Last Airbender. The Sky bison, Leamer bat, Badger moles, and Turtle ducks are some of the most creative animals that have been animated to this day. The idea was that bears look like these giant fluffy friends. You should be able to go up to a pet whenever you want but instead, it's a deadly 200-pound animal that will kill you. Well, still wanting to pet the bear, the idea came when thinking if there was a bear and it was merged with another animal how would it affect the bare and how would you get a bear to still be adorable but less threatening? So hence the Bearrel.
